~Farm To Table Edition~
Cooking our own Okra Dish in Playgroup Class!
Upon cutting the Okra, one of the child commented, “ Ow! Ms. M , There is Saliva there!! “ It was amusing and a very good observation and association made by the child at the same time. They ended up did a little research together to find out this “saliva” is actually called Mucilage.🤭. What a great learning together! The children grow appreciation and love with what they harvested and cooked! It was their first time trying to eat Okra and they fell in Love with it💕🤍
