很高兴台湾著名诗人罗智成老师能担任本学期新加坡南大中文系的亚洲创作项目驻校作家，罗智成老师每星期在南大教授创意写作课程，这11月9日（星期天）下午四点至五点半，新加坡作家节邀请罗智成老师、新加坡剧场人兼作家梁海彬先生和许维贤老师（翁弦尉）在以下的座谈会《没有人是一座孤岛：宝岛与狮岛的对话》谈天说地。很欢迎大家届时出席和交流。

从《地球之岛》到《个人之岛》的大疫年期间，“岛”是罗智成诗集若隐若现的意象，它也是众多宝岛写作人长期落力经营的空间。狮岛的写作人又是如何在作品和言说中重新定位、再现和反思新加坡仅是岛屿的地理事实？这场座谈会将随心所欲从不同的岛屿历史和文化位置出发进行探索，在后冠病时代掀开的全球新冷战和关税战当下，在AI也能创作和取代自身的时代里，人们该如何跟病毒、异己和AI共存？我们何以还能继续共同生活？在辩证、边缘和自我批判的“异教诗学”中，我们何以还能在自由和安全的思辩中重新思考“创作”与“生存”？

预言又止 Uncertain Prophecy with 罗智成 Lo Chih-cheng

《預言又止》是羅智成最近完成的一本詩集。罗智成的诗歌优美典雅，然而其深层却蕴含着严肃的批判与预言：人类，尽管文明不断进步，却似乎因其固有的缺陷而注定重蹈覆辙。我们能否打破这一预言？与罗智成一同，深入剖析他对现代世界的深刻思考与焦虑，审视诗歌在其中扮演的角色与功能，并共同承担起戒备人性弱点这一艰巨任务。

Based on Lo’s poetry collection titled “Uncertain Prophecy” – beneath Lo Chih Cheng’s beautiful and elegant poems, a serious critique and prophecy emerges: Humanity, despite all civilisational progress, seems destined to repeat its past mistakes due to inherent flaws. Can we ever dispel this prophecy? Join Lo in unpacking these profound contemplations and anxieties of the modern world, examining the very role and function of poetry within it, and undertaking the monumental task of addressing humanity's mistakes.
