Some journeys are marked not by milestones, but by the people we share them with.

This March, we invite the 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗖 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁) to come together for 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗕𝗤 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. A chance to reconnect, reflect on shared experiences, and gather around the table one last time at our Bukit Batok campus.

Carlo Pablo joined SHATEC’s CFBO programme in July 1996, arriving from Quezon City, Metro Manila with uncertainty but leaving with a purpose. It was at Rosette - the training restaurant, where he found his footing. Taking on roles from head waiter to bartender, he gained the confidence to shine
during his practicum at Shangri-La Singapore.

Back home in 1998, his SHATEC training opened doors at Starbucks and the Mandarin Hotel, before
he became a Senior Trainer in the outsourcing industry, passing on that same spark to others.

Today, settling down in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila, as a husband and father, Carlo is starting a new chapter with a family café and credits
SHATEC for lighting the way.
