If you have been following our page, you’ll know that we have committed ourselves in working with VIVA Foundation during the F1 in Schools World Finals 2015. As our team is passionate about giving back to society and wants to leave behind a legacy beyond just the World Finals, we agreed to support a charity as changemakers under the SG 50 FOR 50 movement. We decided to support VIVA Foundation, a Singaporean charity that carries out cancer research for children. We strongly believe that these children should have the opportunity to pursue their passion and reach for the stars, just like we did, in spite of any illnesses that they may have.
We supported VIVA Foundation by donating unused sponsorship funds raised for our competition to fund their research. In addition, we also raised awareness for them by dedicating a section of our radio interview to sharing our experience in working with VIVA Foundation. We gave out exclusive team merchandise featuring the VIVA logo during the World Finals, together with with a note explaining VIVA Foundation’s cause. We hope that through this partnership, our team has managed to help support VIVA Foundation in our own small way.
We are very glad to announce that we have finally passed the donation to VIVA Foundation a couple of weeks ago! We have donated SGD 1633.08 to VIVA Foundation in support of cancer research for children. We hope our contributions can help these children achieve their dreams and lead better lives. It has been our pleasure working with VIVA Foundation, and we have certainly gleaned a lot from this collaboration. Do pop over to VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer’s page to show your support too!
Are you ready for the challenge? :)

It's our first day back at home! Our World Finals 2015 journey officially ended yesterday. In light of this, we owe many thanks to these people for their constant support behind the scenes :)
To our mentor, Mr Kenneth Neo, from NUS, thank you for guidance throughout our engineering journey. Our car improved from a timing of 1.3s during the Singapore Nationals to 1.083s this World Finals and we definitely could not have done it without your help!
To Ms Yvonne and Ms Suzenne Zheng, Master Image Consultant, thank you for your invaluable guidance in both aspects of the competition. You were never obliged to help us, yet you willingly offered your time in helping us improve our team image. It was amazing to see the change that you brought us and we would never have impressed the judges with our poise and posture, let alone received the FIA Women in Motorsports award.
To our parents, who have always stood and will continue to stand by us, we owe so much gratitude. From driving around collecting merchandise, to figuring out and helping to solve our car problems, we wouldn't have even made it to the World Finals without you.
To our teachers, Mr Koh King Koon and Mr Tan Hup Yew, thank you for your help and for dealing with our terrifying antics these past few months ;)
Lastly, to our friends, thank you for coming down to support us! (And maybe for helping us collect homework.)
Special shoutout to Ms Vivienne He and Mr Thio Cher Kuan for coming down to Resorts World Sentosa to say hi!

(part i)
Hi everyone! As you may have heard, Team equiNOX has been away from school over the past week at the F1 in Schools World Finals 2015.
After a few gruelling days of intense competition with 46 other teams from all around the world, we are very very proud to announce that we have been awarded the FIA WOMEN IN MOTORSPORTS AWARD! As an all girls' team, we hope that this award can help redefine gender perceptions that women can't succeed in engineering, and we hope to trailblaze the way for future women engineers. We are also glad to have made Singapore proud by being the only Singaporean team to win an award in this year's competition.
This award was really unexpected and we never thought that we would come so far! Of course, we would definitely not have achieved all of this without the support of our sponsors: Digimagic Communications, Cloudstringers, National University of Singapore, Burlinson Dental Surgery, Safra Radio, Wanco Manpower, EmitAsia Singapore Pte Ltd, Davin Link and Yi Mei Motor Repair & Spray Painting. Thank you for taking the leap of faith in choosing to support us.
We would also like to thank our mentor, Mr Kenneth Neo, from NUS. Thank you for not only helping us with the car designs, but also accommodating our ridiculous requests.
Thank you so much to everyone who has believed in us, trusted in us and supported us in one way or another. With the experience gained from this World Finals, we'll be sure to work even harder for our next World Finals in Austin, Texas in 2016!
Special shoutout to Team Phoenix Legacy: Thank you for your constant encouragement and weird advice. We truly hope that we've made you proud and carried on your legacy ;)

If you don't already know, we will be supporting VIVA Foundation as a part of 's Phase II movement! This is because we feel that children with cancer should have a chance to reach for the stars just like we did. This way, we hope that we can leave behind a legacy beyond just this competition.
We will be giving out exclusive VIVA Foundation merchandise during the F1 in Schools World Finals with a note explaining VIVA Foundation's cause to raise both awareness and funds for them. We will also be bringing our reaction gate down to VIVA Foundation's kindergarten so the children can have a taste of what F1 is like. Perhaps this will spark their interest in the competition. We would love to have your support so do approach any one of us to donate!
50 For 50 is a youth-led initiative to activate youths and businesses to raise awareness and funds for lesser-known charities in Singapore. Collectively the group has raised 3.6 million and heaps of awareness for 42 charities!
