The Premium MOE Chinese Course
This Course is led by senior MOE teachers with over 30 years front-line teaching experience, and designed by Doctorate research teams of International Chinese Teaching from the top Universities in China.
The four major components of the course cover all the required aspects of Chinese language learning- speaking , listening, reading and comprehension, and essay/creative writing.
1. Writing Magic
We help our students grow a broad and rich Chinese vocabulary through exciting, personalised activities, games and supplementary materials.
As the students progress, they will develop grammar skills via sentence building games, short writing challenges and many more inspiring activities that help them use new words and grammar in more complex and constructive sentences.
2. Time to talk.
With abundance of dialogue and presentation practice, the students will continuously improve their command of the Chinese language and applying new words, sentences in various context.
3. Reading Master
The students will learn strategies of reading comprehension from a wide range of selected Chinese stories and articles. The inspiring class games and activities will help them unlock the skills in story maps, background knowledge, retelling, logical analysing. With the reading training, the students will also progress in Chinese words recognition, sentence construction and cohesion, and article structure.
4. Writing Proficiency
Our students are then challenged to put their learning into action, producing Chinese stories, essays, diaries, and other styles of writing. Their work will live in a personal portfolio that can be shared with family, friends and a global audience!

Bing Dwen Dwen is a Giant panda with a suit of ice, a heart of gold and a love of winter sports. The panda is ready to share the true spirit of the Olympics with the whole world. Shuey Rhon Rhon is an anthropomorphic Chinese lantern. Lanterns represent harvest, celebration, warmth and light. The wishful shape at the top symbolizes auspicious happiness.

Chinese New Year Tradition: Greeting the God of Wealth on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year！Today is the 5th day of the 1st month in Lunar Calendar. This day is commonly known as the Festival of Po Wu ( 破五, literally breaking five). According to the traditional customs, it is believed that many New Year taboos can be broken on this day. From this day on, shops will generally return to normal. There are several stories about the origin of the Festival of Po Wu, among which the most popular one is that this day is the birthday of the God of Fortune (财神, cai shen). So, on this day, people will celebrate this day with a large banquet. They will also shoot off firecrackers in the attempt to get the attention of the god of fortune, thus ensuring his favor and good fortune for the whole new year. Even till today, In the northern part of China, people still prefer eating dumplings (饺子, jiao zi) on this day to celebrate that many taboos can be broken since this day. Besides, the shape of a dumpling is like a gold ingot, so eating dumplings is also a way to celebrate the birthday of the God of Fortune.
