Kopfkino, directly translated to ‘head cinema,’ is an expression used to describe the phenomenon of your mind wandering to other places.

We can likely all relate to finding ourselves playing out a situation in our minds, as our thoughts drift out of reality and into our very own, personal inner cinemas! 🎬🍿

It simply wouldn’t be Christmas without a sweet cake or bread, embellished with nuts and dried fruit - or at least, this is the case in Germany! 🍞🍇🥜

Stollen, also known as Christstollen in Germany, is a fruit bread made with almonds, spices, dried or candied fruit and sometimes, marzipan.
With many variations which include poppy seed, almond, nuts, and extra butter content, this fruitcake is often dusted with a thick covering of powdered sugar to call the image of a snowy Christmas landscape to mind while enjoyed during the Christmas season.
