Voting is a tool to express a wish to follow a particular course of action when one is posed with more than two options. Very often in life, there are times when there can be more than one opinion in a group and the group is unable to come to a consensus to decide which opinion is the more favourable.

As such, voting, as we also termed it as the concept of โ€œthe majority winsโ€ comes in handy. Everyone gets one vote to decide which opinion they favour more. At the end of the voting session, the cumulative votes for each opinion is counted and the opinion with the highest votes win.

This way, children can understand the notion of fairness and a way to problem solve.
