🔤🏆 Arif Sahibba 2026 🏆🔤

Our P5 students brought their A-game to Arif Sahibba — a Malay Scrabble competition organised by MAEC Tampines Central in celebration of Bulan Bahasa 2026! 📚

They clinched 5th place! A wonderful achievement that reflects their sharp thinking, vocabulary mastery, and love for the Malay language. 💪

We are so proud of the focus, confidence, and teamwork they showed throughout the competition. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to the parents who came down to cheer our students on. Your presence meant the world to them and made the day even more special. 💛

Well done, Arif Sahibba team! You did TNPS proud! 🌟

Drop a 👏 for our word warriors!

🌍💚Small Actions, BIG Impact! Visiting Sustainable Singapore Gallery! 💚🌍

Our Primary 3 students headed to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery for an eco-filled Social Studies Learning Journey! From interactive exhibits and lively Kahoot! quizzes to a hands-on upcycling workshop, our young eco-warriors learnt about key sustainability concepts and discovered that small actions make a BIG impact. 🌿

The highlight? Turning old T-shirts into reusable pouches! Check out how our students gave something old a new life and took another step towards a greener future. ♻️

A big thank you to our teachers and the guides at Sustainable Singapore Gallery for making the learning journey a fun and meaningful one for our students! 💚

🤝✨ Student Leadership Collaboration with Bedok South Secondary School [Part 3] ✨🤝

TNPS × Bedok South Secondary: Going Beyond Together! What a way to wrap up our Student Leadership Collaboration with Bedok South Secondary School (BDS). Four sessions, one meaningful finale! 🌟

From first-day icebreakers to planning inclusive telematches, our P5 Prefects worked alongside their BDS student mentors to put their learning into action at the OneBDS Carnival for children from SPD. 🎯💛

Seeing our young leaders step up, connect with others and lead with empathy was what this journey was all about. Leadership isn’t just about leading. It’s about serving and making a difference. 🤝

🇸🇬✨ Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond! ✨ 🇸🇬

TNPS went red, white and full-on Singapore spirit as we celebrated our nation’s 61st birthday! ❤️🤍

From our Observance Ceremony to the level march-ins, every student showed what it means to Go Beyond — beyond self, towards a sustainable future, and towards shaping the Singapore of tomorrow. 🌟

Then came the vibes! Performances, GetActive! Singapore, flag-waving and a whole-school singalong to Giants and Sparkle filled the hall with energy and pride. 🎶

And as we mark 60 years of our National Pledge, staff and students led the Pledge in all four official languages. It is one powerful reminder that whatever our differences, we are one Singapore. 🇸🇬

❤️ One People. One Nation. One Singapore. ❤️

Happy 61st Birthday, Singapore! 🇸🇬✨

🇸🇬 Did You Know?
The National Pledge is officially 60 this year! 🎉
Sixty years on, these are not just words we recite. They are values that continue to shape the Singapore we call home. ❤️🇸🇬

🌏 Languages that Connect, Cultures that Inspire! ✨

Mother Tongue came to life this Fortnight! From hands-on workshops to interactive experiences, our students discovered the rich cultures and traditions behind the Chinese, Malay, and Tamil languages.

🎭Chinese Language
✨Crafted opera masks, 青花瓷 (blue-and-white porcelain) artworks, traditional fans and umbrellas
✨Met the popular YES 933 DJs
✨Explored local Chinese literature through book reviews
✨Tested their language skills in a fun trivia quiz about Singapore’s food, places and traditions!

🌺 Malay Language
✨Played traditional games & crafted Batik art
✨Discovered Wayang Kulit (shadow puppets) & performed Dikir Barat (choral performance)
✨Made fragrant Bunga Rampai (potpourri) & decorative Bunga Telur (wedding favour consisting of a hard-boiled egg and decorative flowers)
✨Felt the rhythm with genderang (traditional percussion instruments)!

🪔 Tamil Language
✨Shaped Tamil letters with clay
✨Wove traditional coconut leaf Thoranams (decorative door hanging)
✨Performed vibrant Kollattam (stick dance) & Karagam dances (pot dance)
✨Played cherished traditional games

🤝 Celebrating Together
A major highlight of Mother Tongue Fortnight was our Cultural Exchange! Students stepped into different classrooms to experience traditions beyond their own, learning from one another and celebrating Singapore’s rich multicultural heritage.

Here’s to celebrating our roots, embracing diversity, and learning together - one language, one culture, and one meaningful experience at a time. ❤️

💧⚙️ STEM Water Wheel Challenge ⚙️💧

Our P4 and P5 students took on the STEM Water Wheel Challenge, to design and build a water wheel that spins for at least 5 seconds using just the flow of water from a bottle! 💡

Through testing, tweaking, and improving their designs, they showed creativity, perseverance, and real problem-solving skills. 💪

It was also heartening to see strong family support, with some students taking their learning home and building alongside their family members. 🤝

✨ Think. Create. Innovate. This is STEM at TNPS. 💛

Drop a 👍🏻 to encourage our young inventors!
