Our SPiNOFF startups did us so proud this year at the National Youth Entrepreneurship Awards (NYEA) 2025!

SP startups walked away with three prizes for the NYEA POL-ITE Entrepreneurs’ Challenge:
🏆 Grand Prize - Assistive Technologies (Alumni category)
🏆 Silver - Videotto (PET category)
🏆 Bronze - Digi-Up! (Alumni category)

As part of the challenge, our startups participated in a series of entrepreneurship workshops and mentoring by industry experts from June to October 2025. The POL-ITE Entrepreneurs’ Challenge is a challenge jointly organised by the Ministry of Education, local polytechnics, the Institute of Technical Education, and the Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE.SG).

We know so much hard work went into this challenge, and we cannot be more proud of our SP startups! 🚀🫶🏼

[Repost ] Meet Ing Kai, an SP Engineering with Business alumnus and the visionary behind Stick ‘Em! 🌟🚀 His journey from student to entrepreneur at Singapore Polytechnic highlights the incredible power of innovation and resilience. From late-night prototyping 🛠️ to sealing important deals 🤝, it all led to the surreal moment when he and co-founder Adam won the coveted Hult Prize of US$1 million in funding 💰, doubling their customer base overnight—especially among Singapore schools! ✨🙌🏼🎉

But that’s just the beginning. The spark ignited when Ing Kai discovered his passion for hands-on projects at the School of Science and Technology 🔬. This passion blossomed into a desire to help others through his creations ❤️. At SP, he embraced numerous extracurricular opportunities, including engineering competitions 🏆 and maker spaces, which fostered his practical skills and motivation 💪.

Day 2 at SWITCH 2025 shone a spotlight on Singapore Polytechnic’s startup community 💡

At the panel Building Together: Supporting Startup Success, SP founders, mentors and partners shared how early ideas can grow into enterprises that make a real difference.

🤝 With mentorship, funding and competition exposure, founders gained confidence to scale their innovations
