Dubai is developing a 93-kilometer network of air-conditioned tunnels aimed at cyclists, enabling year-round riding even during extreme heat, as part of its sustainable mobility strategy. These tunnels would connect major districts, linking homes, workplaces, and essential services, offering a safe, comfortable, and car-free cycling environment.

The plans also include green zones, cyclist rest areas, and community spaces along the route, all powered by renewable energy, supporting active transportation, healthier living, and a climate-resilient urban future.
