We have four main objectives:

- To ensure that cats on campus enjoy an environment that is safe and away from harm, through the establishment of ‘cat cafes’ - feeding grounds for community cats on campus.

- To ensure that the community cat population is kept within manageable limits through trap-neuter-return programmes.

- To educate campus residents and students on cat care and cat behaviou

r; this involves mediation of disputes relating to cats on campus.

- To rescue community cats that are injured or sick on campus. We currently have 4 hall clusters on campus - feeding grounds for our community cats, which are each led by their own coordinators. Cat coordinators manage the cats within their designated hall areas and report to the main committee any emergencies that happen. We also educate residents and students on campus on cat care and cat behaviour, and mediate disputes related to cats on campus.

After 8 months of running away from the cmn family, McChicken has finally decided that maybe free food, hooman and emotional manipulation are not so bad after all. Despite hissing, scratching and multiple escape attempts, he has unfortunately become loved.

Current grievances include:
- called “chicken” despite clearly not being a chicken
- wrongful confiscation of jewels
- repeated requests to “become fatter”
- suspicious praise such as “good boy” and “best boy”
- growing concern that he is being fattened up for consumption

More diary entries to come if he survives.
