Pei Hwa Secondary School

Last week, from 18 August to 22 August, Pei Hwa students participated in a rich array of programmes as part of our school’s annual Streamnovation Week. The week commenced with a stirring opening ceremony featuring a performance by the Drama Club, followed by the top classes’ level-wide challenge showcase during assembly. The students worked hard to create solutions to this year’s theme, “Dr Doom(scroll): Digital Decay”, which led to many wonderful and inventive creations.
Students also engaged in enlightening learning journeys and workshops at locations such as Google Singapore, Changi Airport, Sentosa, and others. The images provide a splendid visual record— Do you spot yourself in the pictures?
We extend our warm congratulations to Class 3I1, recipients of the People’s Choice Award, for their inventive concept spotlighting the ancient personas: Mr Phantastic, Ms Grass, and Mr Yap. We also commend Class 2R9, honoured with the Judge’s Choice Award, for their masterfully designed creations: the LexiGun, Focus Shield, and Scrollbreaker Gauntlet.
We look forward to seeing your active participation next year. Until then, Pei Hwa has been saved from Dr Doom(scroll)!

✨ Pei Hwa Dance Society recently took part in the Super 24 qualifiers — our first time in 10 years! ✨

Our dancers delivered a stunning performance filled with creativity, teamwork, and perseverance. Out of all the teams, they clinched 5th place in our division, missing a spot in the finals by just 1 point! 💪

For many, this was their very first competition of such scale, and they rose to the challenge with enthusiasm and dedication. We could not be prouder of their achievement. 💃❤️
