Enabling positive financial emotional resilience for a flourishing life! We seek meaning in our lives, and live by a new definition of success.

We are a community of young people who want fulfilling and empowering lifestyles, but are done with a single-minded focus of progress based on greed, growth and achievement. We hope to show, through money as a metaphor, what is actually important in life, and to rebuild a positive and healthy relationship to money in our society, with the highest goal of getting in touch with the wonder and purpos

🌿 It’s a wrap! 2025

What a weekend! The festival has come to a close — and we celebrate 10 years of partnership with the National Youth Council Singapore ().

This festival has been such an inspiration for us — as we celebrate and look ahead to , it made us stop and think about what needs to be in place for us, our society, our young people, and generations to come. 🌱

✨ Some of my highlights and takeaways:

1️⃣ On Intergenerational Conversations
People asked — why have a topic on intergenerational conversations when the young people in the room were so young?

My response: a lot of times we go through life as individuals, not realising the stories our parents and ancestors carry — and the profound impact their sacred stories have on us.

Their lives, their decisions, and the various forms of capital they held shape who we are — our choices and our decisions.Understanding where we come from shapes our present and our future.

Oftentimes, money feels short-term. We trade, we invest, we want to get wealthy fast. But if we can help young people see how the present impacts the future, it shifts how they choose — because today’s decisions shape tomorrow’s futures. 🌿

2️⃣ On Authentic Sharing
The second thing that stood out was the authentic sharing from all our speakers — their lives, experiences, failures, and successes.

These stories remind us of our common humanity — that as we journey through life, we are not alone.

🙏 Huge thanks to
Marcus Tan , .chucy Bernard Lim, John K Choi

The convening of our across generations allows us to grow empathy, navigate challenges, embrace ambiguity, and design a flourishing future together. 💫

3️⃣ On the Launch of the Wealth Resilience Institute (WRI) We’re so excited to expand our mission — to reach more families, organizations, and entrepreneurs who are growing with us.

🌱 Two Conversations. One Vision: Redefining Wealth for a Flourishing Future.

Join us at the Wealth Resilience Festival, where founders and leaders engage in dialogues about meaningful wealth growth.

💬 Dialogue 1: Investing and Growing Your Wealth (8 Forms of Capital)
We often see “wealth” as financial capital alone. What if emotional, social, intellectual, or spiritual forms are just as vital? This first discussion explores how to build wealth across all 8 forms of capital while investing with purpose over mere profit.

Featuring:
- Marcus Tan — Co-founder, Carousell Group
- Faiq Zulkifli — Co-founder, The Six Boxing Gym
- Rachel Handoko — Graduate Analyst, Yale-NUS College Alumnus

Expect inspiring stories on cultivating businesses alongside inner resilience.

🏡 Dialogue 2: Intergenerational Conversations—Designing a New Financial Future Across Generations
Wealth often fades after three generations due to relationship breakdowns rather than poor money management. This dialogue emphasizes building intergenerational thinking among entrepreneurs who connect emotionally around money—not just through numbers. We can reshape our futures regardless of past circumstances.

Featuring:
- Jerome Penafort — Founder, Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie
- Colin Chu — Director, Huon Property Group
- Bernard Lim - Principal Consultant, Wealth College
- John K Choi - Managing Director, First Rate Connect

These two conversations reflect the essence of Wealth Resilience—integrating personal growth with responsible stewardship and fostering enduring values across generations.

In the afternoon session, we’ll work through our money narratives before concluding the day with an engaging session featuring Gerald Tock (CEO of Kommunity Ventures) and Junxian Lee (CPO & Co-Founder of GoodWhale).

💛 Join us on 8 November to reimagine what wealth means—for ourselves and future generations. Early bird registration ends soon! [https://lnkd.in/g5ZSUAf7](https://lnkd.in/g5ZSUAf7)

The conversation continues.

Building on our first dialogue on Investing and Growing Your Wealth, we’re now excited to introduce our second dialogue at the Wealth Resilience Festival 2025:
Intergenerational Conversations — Designing a New Financial Future Across Generations

🔸 Jerome Penafort — Founder, Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie
🔸 Marcus Tan - Co-Founder, Carousell, Deputy Chairman, ACE

They come from different worlds — a culinary entrepreneur and a real estate leader — yet share the same intention: to build meaning, connection, and legacy that lasts beyond profit.

This dialogue explores how collaboration and shared wisdom across generations are shaping a new kind of financial future — one rooted in purpose, continuity, and care.

Have you ever thought about what wealth will mean in 2035?
The world is shifting faster than we ever imagined — climate, technology, the way we live and connect — everything is changing.

And with it, what we once called “enough” might not mean the same thing anymore.
Maybe it’s not just about stability or success, but about feeling safe, free, and fulfilled in a world that keeps moving.

As the world evolves, so does our sense of what truly matters.

Join the conversation at the Wealth Resilience Festival as we explore what financial wellbeing could look like in a changing world — and how we can start shaping it together. 🌏✨

This is what we’ll be uncovering at WRF 2025.

Rethinking wealth.
Redefining enough.

Being good with money isn’t just about debt or savings.
It’s about how you *feel* when you’re spending, saving, or setting boundaries.

Nicholas, 34, thought he was good with money because he had a steady salary… until his contract wasn’t renewed.

Even with some savings, he felt a wave of panic.
How would he cover rent, bills, and family support?

He realised: being debt-free doesn’t equal feeling safe.
Security comes from planning for the ‘what ifs.’

He started building a real emergency fund—3–6 months of living expenses—and reviewing his income streams.

Money isn’t just numbers.
It’s peace of mind.

Nicholas learned that feeling safe matters more than looking responsible.
Now, even if something unexpected happens, he knows he can handle it.
Panic no longer rules him.

Have you felt this too? 💬
