𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸 from .in.mind!

To be able to meet Ramadhan is a gift like no other. Our gratitude should know no bounds when blessed with the opportunity to meet Ramadhan.

As we know it, Ramadhan is a month of mercy - mercy from the Almighty to us and mercy to others around us.

Being merciful also entails being gentle and kind to others and ourselves, just like the Prophet (PBUH) was.

Let's remind ourselves this as we navigate Ramadhan with our families, including our little one.

May Allah grant us a Ramadhan filled with blessings, mercy and contentment, while opening up many doors for us to do consistent good deeds

𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍 𝐔𝐁𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐘𝐘𝐀𝐇:
Reliving the Sunnah of Mariam (AS)

One of the many wonders of the story of Maryam a.s. is that her life was full of miracles that were not given to other ordinary human beings.

Yet, her birth of Nabi Isa (a.s.) was very human. This birth experience is immortalised in the Quran for us to take its learnings and wisdom.

Join us as we take a deeper look at her experience, the rahmah that Allah bestowed upon her and the current scientific findings of that which gave her comfort during her birth.

Let's take her sunnah to this rites of passage which transforms us to not just be a mother - but one who tastes the sweetness of ubudiyyah (worship) to Allah, tawakkul to Him and surrendering to His rahmah.

Hafiza is a certified childbirth educator, doula and transformational birth coach with a degree in Psychology.

A modern day nomad who travels to different cities every few years with her family, Hafiza loves to bring the beauty and miracle of birth to women in every part of the world.

Birth is not just a physical experience to Hafiza. It is an experience that can bring maturity of being for each woman to understand another layer of Allah's rahmah (loving mercy) and greatness as she experiences a life-altering journey that is emotionally enriching and spiritually fulfilling. Hafiza weaves in the higher purpose of life in a woman's birthing experience as she coaches women to find healing, fulfilment and enrichment in this rites of passage.

Through this, no matter how a woman birthed, she would be connected to her fitrah of ubudiyyah (worship) to Allah and discover a transformation through this honoured journey, inshaAllah.

These are trying times for many of us. The month of Rasulullah PBUH in Rabiulawwal should inspire us throughout our lives on how we can handle difficult times.

Many times, we might see difficulties as punishments. But as Muslimah, it is important for us to think good of Allah and see it as a test. With tests, come rewards for our patience, and definitely also a time to reflect on our actions.

When the Prophet PBUH was tested greatly in Ta’if, part of the Prophet’s prayer included how he did not care as long as Allah was not angry with him. He had utmost conviction that whatever the reason was for the affliction, Allah was guiding him and will take care of him.

Join our IG stories and share with us what stories or attributes of the Prophet PBUH inspire you! We hope this meaningful remembrance will recharge us to surge aheads in the midst of our own personal tests.

The first day of PSLE has passed and we know it must be nerve-wrecking for parents and students alike.

We wish all children who are taking the PSLE the best and we pray that Allah open your hearts, make easy your burdens during this difficult time and grant you success in your studies and in everything else that you do.

We know that it is not easy for parents too! Let's practise this du'a and ask Allah to grant us a calm heart and mind.

May Allah grant our du'as and ease our challenges. Aamiin!

Here we are, back with another comic!

Previously we've seen Lina and Amy having a conversation about hijab during trekking. Let's take a look at their conversation when they first met on a cruise ship!

Based on a true story, where one of our sisters was approached by someone with the misconception that the hijab is only worn by "traditional Muslims". Our character, Lina, shows how we can take these questions with positivity and a smile.

What would YOU say if you were in Lina's place?

If you had encountered a similar situation as Lina before, do share your experience with us in the comments!! 🧕🏽

Follow us so as not to miss out on the final part and other posts about hijab coming up! ☝🏻✨

When PM Lee publicly announced at the National Day rally last week that nurses may start wearing the hijab at the workplace, counts of people celebrated this news. 🇸🇬

Yet, some may still have questions as to why it is so significant to Muslim women. 🤷

This post will help to demystify the hijab and its importance to Muslims, so that you can better appreciate what the piece of cloth on your head really stands for.🧕
