Meet Abigail - FMSS’s President 💜

Meet our very own President and the fastest and most organised notetaker you will ever meet📝. Whenever we are in a meeting, her fingers move at the speed of lightning. When you take a quick peek at what she is typing 👀, you will be amazed because she wasn’t transcribing the conversation. She processed the things discussed and categorised them accordingly. Sometimes you will really wonder what exactly goes on in that little mind of hers🧠 because she gets the job done within minutes. (like… HOW?)

She may seem like a quiet girl but can you guess what unexpected sides she has? She is the best baker in town (her bakes know the way to your heart😩❤️), a HUGE lover of cats & thrifting, AND she will sing Fancy by Twice for any of us in a heartbeat🎙.

Meet Mindy – FMSS’s Vice President 💜

Our mama bear 🧸and instant-boost-of-serotonin. Her warm presence puts the sun out of business…☀️Maybe that’s why she’s our go-to to talk about everything under the sun! Irritated that your bus was tardy? Stressed about assignments? Just saw a golden retriever do a backflip? Need a warm hug? Mindy’s the person to hit up! Besides being our listening ear, she takes care of our well-being too (alongside Abigail) 👧🏻👧🏻.

An interesting fact about her that not many people know is that hotpot🍲is her biggest weakness. She usually can’t finish her food but when it comes to hotpot, it’s as though she has three other stomachs🐮. With that being said, you know what to do when you’re trying to brighten her day🤠!

Meet Karen - FMSS’s Marketing Member 💜

Also known as Jack-of-all-trades to FMSS, the amount of experience she has in her life is probably more than the amount of salt your asian parents have eaten in their lifetime. She is a filmmaker 🎬(our only exco from Film, Sound & Video!), a dancer 💃🏻 (she does competitive ballroom dancing and contemporary) and she used to be a part-time fishmonger 🎣. Yes, you read that right. A part-time fishmonger. No, she doesn’t sail a boat across the ocean to catch them but she will fish them out from the tank and sell them to you.

Given her exciting adventures in life, Karen always has something to share. She is usually sharing her encounters with us and we love listening to her stories! If you want to look for her in school, just keep a lookout for someone with a pompompurin scrunchie on her wrist!

Meet Seann - FMSS’s Programmes Head 💜

Our very own polymath who can produce music, play sports, and drive (not yet, but soon enough) 🎶⚽️🏎! Most of us are content with simply listening to our favourite artists, but Seann makes his own rap covers too. Give them a listen and you’ll see that his years of listening to YG artists have definitely paid off (psst, his ults are Big Bang and Winner) 😯🎧.

Just like how Seann’s favourite hero, Batman, has a secret identity, there’s more to our Progs Head than what meets the eye! Though he may seem serious at first, he’s a fun-loving guy who loves joking around 🥳. Wanna get to know him better? Cars and music are the way to his heart – the Max Verstappen fan is always up for a chat 🏎💨! Brownie points if you bring up Top Gun Maverick or Dean Lewis’ “Be Alright,” both of which never fail to get him in the feels 😢.

Meet Isabelle - FMSS’s Programmes Member 💜

Our very own It-girl that captures precious moments through her very own film camera📸 Some people possess a talent that allows them to be amazing photographers who can capture the beauty of their subjects flawlessly, yet they can never convey the same beauty when they are the subjects themselves. However, Isabelle can do both!😍

When asked what’s the one thing that made her fall in love with film photography, she said it’s the way each picture turns out differently every time as though they have their own special meaning behind it💗. If you take the time to find out more about Isabelle, you will realise every side of her is just like those film pictures she took — authentic.
