Video snippets of Aikido Shinju-Kai Singapore x Beijing cultural exchange Journey! 🇨🇳✨
From 30th May to 6th June 2026, our Shinju-Kai family created unforgettable memories of growth, connection, and wonder. 🥋
Hiking up the Great Wall of China and having lunch at the peak. Tearing our spirit on the majestic Great Wall. Hiking 3 hours under the sun with grit and perseverance, we reached the top for lunch — hearts full of triumph and tears of joy. 🏞️🔥
In the countryside, picking cherries and savoring a heartfelt farm-to-table dinner warmed our souls and strengthened friendships. 🍒❤️
We marveled at 1.4 million artifacts in the National Museum of China, then strolled the vibrant Nanluoguxiang snack street at night. 🌃
Standing before the ancient Forbidden City felt like a dream. A vintage tram ride, Michelin Peking Duck dinner, and little Hayden’s birthday celebration made it magical. 🏯🎂
Our final day brought awe at a state-of-the-art rocket facility, inspiration at Songzhuang Art Museum, and a festive roasted lamb feast with dumpling making. 🍖🥟
This journey sparked breakthroughs, built character, and forged lifelong bonds across cultures. We returned stronger, wiser, and deeply grateful. Thank you to everyone — here’s to more growth and adventures ahead! 🌍🙏

Children & Youth Demonstration by Aikido Shinju-Kai.
The Event saw over 80,000 spectators across 2 days.

Aikido Shinju-Kai didn’t just show up, they genuinely lifted the whole energy of K!DZ Pop Con Asia. They added a refreshing layer of excitement and meaning to an already fun family event. By the end of the day, you could see kids walking away a little taller, with brighter eyes, carrying home more than just prizes. They left with seeds of confidence, resilience, and the important idea that real strength comes from staying calm and working in harmony with others.
Lots of parents came up to the team afterward, sharing how the sessions got their families talking at home about emotional control, respect, and peaceful ways to solve conflicts. In a world that often celebrates aggression, Aikido Shinju-Kai offered something refreshingly different and it clearly struck a chord with so many modern families.

Over the weekend of May 23 and 24, Aikido Shinju-Kai brought something special to the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. They turned a corner of Level 1 into a lively, welcoming space full of movement, fun, and good vibes that left thousands of families feeling energized and inspired.

Kokyunage is not merely a technique, it is breath embodied. “Kokyu” (呼吸) means breath, rhythm, and the vital energy that flows through all things.
To meet the opponent’s energy at its peak, and project them with the power of unified breath and center.
