March 8th is International Women’s Day! It is a day where we look back, celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of women and what has been done in the realm of gender equality while also recognising that there is still work to be done

To is to recognise that access and opportunities by itself are not enough. Being equitable is ensuring that each person is an individual with their own biographies and histories. Equity is about ensuring that everyone is supported and has the resources to succeed

We, as Scouts can be at the frontlines of promoting equity and inclusion. Challenge gender stereotypes, be cognisant, call out discrimination, and seek to actively include. Through this, we can Create a Better World for all. Regardless.

Today (21 Sep) is the International Day of Peace 🕊! The theme for this year is “End Racism. Build Peace.” join us as we work towards a world free of racism and racial discrimination. A world where compassion and empathy overcome suspicion and hatred. A world that we can truly be proud of.

As Scouts ⚜️ we are known as the Messengers of Peace as we live up to our mantra of Creating a Better World 🌏 Learn more about racism and what you can do on an individual and group level in our post!

Today (8 Mar) is International Women's Day. A day where we all come together and when it comes to gender inequalities. Sustainable Development Goal 5 calls for gender equality and Scouts of all genders have all have a role to play in achieving this goal! Here are a few ways to do it:

👉🏼 Read up about the history of women activism in Singapore and around the world
