This holiday, three groups of our Secondary 3 students participated in the iTourism Challenge organised by Republic Polytechnic and we are happy to share that one of the teams managed to achieve a Merit. 🏆
This competition allows students to broaden their understanding of different types of tourism and challenges them to develop innovative solutions to real-world tourism issues.
Swipe right to see the groups in action! 💥

Recently, our Manna student journalists interviewed the Artistic Director of the Singapore Repertory Theatre, Mr Gaurav, who has also produced more than 100 plays. 🎭
Mr Gaurav was very inspiring and the students had an enriching experience as interviewers, and learning about professionalism at work, importance of tenacity and passion, and also how to stand out. Thank you for sharing your passion and insights with us, Mr Gaurav!
This comes after our journalists’ interviews of a DJ, and a lab research assistant.
You can catch this interview and many other exciting pieces in our next volume of Manna which will be coming your way soon in 2026! Until then, stay tuned! 🎵

Songwriters in AES?! That’s right!
Earlier this year, a few of our Sec 2 students took part in the ‘Youth Station Project’ - an initiative by the Singapore Youth Festival (S*F), where student songwriters, with the help of their music teachers, worked together to produce an entire track. Songwriting? Lyric-writing? Audio Production? They did it all!
We’re very happy to announce that all of our student-group submissions were well-received! One of the groups even made it to the next round, and had their work professionally mixed, mastered, and published on the S*F YouTube Channel!
Well done to all groups! Do click the link in our bio to catch the published song on YouTube!

Hey Assumption Knights!
Do you remember our favourite AssumptionKnight MASCOT?
We are embarking on a mission to NAME our mascot! This will create a shared sense of school identity (and we can call our mascot something rather than ‘mascot’...).
Some examples of names are:
ACE (sounds like AES)
Assum-sum (sounds like tsum-tsum)
Feel free to submit your other ideas! Your creativity will go down in history! (We will also find some way to recognise your contribution if your suggested name is eventually selected!)
⭐️⭐️⭐️SUBMIT YOUR NAME SUGGESTIONS HERE: https://forms.moe.edu.sg/forms/J07MVV ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (also available on our recent story)
Here’s a writeup of our mascot: https://www.assumptionenglish.moe.edu.sg/about-aes/assumptions-identity/assumptionknight/
