Jac's Learning Centre was founded by Mr Jackie Lim, a passionate teacher who taught in a main stream school for 5 years. We teach English, Maths and Science from Primary 1 to O-Levels. We also have a team of trainers conducting robotics, coding and computer programming.

There were 9 red beads and some blue beads. After some red beads were added, the fraction of blue beads was 2/5. After another 56 yellow beads were added, the fraction of blue beads became 2/9. How many red beads were added?

[Primary 5/6] A class is taking a 10-minute quiz. Leon answered 2 more questions than Keith every minute. If they answer 62 questions altogether, how many questions did Leon answer?
[Primary 5/6] A printing company was testing 2 printing machines for 5 minutes. Both machines were turned on and off at the same time and printed 628 copies in total. For every minute of printing, machine A printed 20 copies less than machine B. How many copies did Machine A print in 5 minutes?
These 2 questions are similar with different settings. It is important that a student are able to apply the same strategy on similar questions.
