Or simply there is a significant group to students who cannot qualify for local universities, hence they enroll in private universities based in SG? Do get help as early as possible if you or your child sees the need.
4,400 A-Level students do not enrol in local universities per year: MOE Acting Minister for Education (Higher Education & Skills) Ong Ye Kung was responding to a question by Member of Parliament Lim Wee Kiak about the number of junior college students who did not go on to universities after graduation in the last five years.
