This is the 4th La Pianista Singapore Piano Competition 2023!

We were very delighted to have received many kind and good feedbacks from many teachers and students!
All of them enjoyed! So had we! 🙏🏻❤️

For many young pianists, this is well the first competition and first trophy in their music learning journey!

In music instrument learning, stage time accumulation is always important, and should begin as early as the situation permits.

Accumulation of the stage time comes in a few forms - exam, concert, competition, casual performance in small groups etc. all are important.

We were very pleased that our youngest participant is only 4 years of age. This is extremely encoruagable as we all need to start from somewhere.

That said, we shouldn’t underestimate the emotional impact of a 15-seconds piece performed by a budding musician. The entire process from walking up the stage, to bowing and performing would have had a lot of emotional inner workings within our little ones. Hence performing at such age, regardless of pieces, is simply remarkable! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Once again, thank you Singapore team, thank you adjudicators, thank you teachers, parents and students!

It was a regret not being able to hold the competition live as we had all wished. As such, we had specially arranged this live adjudicating session, aiming to maximize the competition ambience.

Thank you Ms WIllyana, Dr Alistair Noble, Ms Brigifine & Mrs Jessie Wilson, for making this live adjudicating session so lovely and so wonderful.

还记得当天，外婆忽然问我：烟花应该填什么颜色？她问：橙色可以吗？我回说：金色会比较漂亮吧！

然后，当她在专心填色的，我便帮她拍了张照片。一张很美、很专注、很沉浸、很有自我空间的照片。

因为太欣赏我外婆的 colouring 与colouring 的认真与精神，因此我才萌生了办一个乐龄网上填色比赛的项目的念头。

这是一项非盈利的活动。主要是希望鼓励乐龄长辈们把 colouring 培养成一个小爱好，点缀生活。为生活增添一点点小色彩。

填色不但可以缓解压力，对眼、脑、手腕的活动也很有益处。在心灵的沉淀上，更有很好的疗愈效果。

这对那些不会看书报、不会画画书法乐器长辈们，尤其有帮助。

再加上由于疫情的关系，很多乐龄长辈连每日的外出散步买菜都无法如常进行，日子大多是在电视机前渡过，被动的很。

报名费是SGD $15/-
10 人以上的团体报名，则是每人 SGD $10/-

此比赛共有四个组别。每个组别至少会有5名得奖者。

除了得奖者的奖品之外，比赛后，所有参赛者都将获得一盒36色的Colleen 彩色笔、一本精美的填色书、一个铅笔刨、一个小橡皮擦、一支铅笔，以方便他们立即投入休闲彩色的活动中。

比赛结束后，在阻断措施后的第三阶段，我们也会安排一个小型画展，展出所有得奖者的画作。

It all started when my granny asked me what colour should she colour for fireworks? She asked if orange Colour would fit the job, I then told her golden Colour should looks prettier.

Then I took a photo of her colouring, and I instantly realised this is such a beautiful and calm sight 😍😍😍

Very much inspired by my granny’s colouring and her colouring spirit, I had then decided to organise an online colouring contest for senior adults.

This is a not-for-profit project aiming to encourage senior adults to pick up colouring as a hobby, especially during this Covid times, when they are very much encouraged to stay at home.

There are a total of 4 categories, and each category would have at least 5 winners.

I would arrange all winners’ artworks for a small exhibition in Phase 3.

Registration fee per contestant is SGD $15.00

After the competition, all contestants, would be receiving a box of Colleen 36-colour pencils, a colouring book, a sharpener, an eraser and a pencil - a complete kit to facilitate the senior adults to try out regular colouring right after the contest, hoping they can adopt this healthy hobby into their daily routine.

How to Participate:

2) Make payment via Bank Transfer or via PayNow. Please state your name when making payment.
