Somewhere between the stage and the spice bowls, St Francians travelled the world without leaving campus. 🌏
National Day and International Friendship Day came together this year in the best way, students in traditional dress from across the region, a stall serving up Australian meat pies, and a hands-on station where students got to smell, touch, and guess their way through spices from Southeast Asian kitchens.
It’s easy to talk about global citizenship. It’s another thing to watch a room full of kids actually live it, one dance, one dish, one new friend at a time. 🥰

Reading, reimagined. 📖✨
Our St Francians brought their imagination to the stage at the 2026 National Chinese Creative Reading Competition, organised in partnership with POPULAR Bookstore. This isn’t your typical reading contest, students transform stories into full creative performances, complete with costumes, props and characters brought to life on stage.
From a homemade cardboard robot to a lion dance head, our students went all in, showing that a love for Chinese language and literature can be expressed through performance, creativity and confident storytelling. Huge congratulations to all our participants for representing SFMS International with such spirit and imagination.
Proud of every St Francian who stepped on that stage today.

One school, so many flags at heart. 🇸🇬
This National Day and International Friendship Day, our St Francians celebrated what makes Singapore, and SFMS International, so special: our diversity. The morning began with the whole school singing the 2026 National Day theme song together, voices from every corner of the world united in one tune.
Then came the best part. Students swapped classrooms to go “visiting,” dressed in traditional outfits from Japan, Korea, India, Indonesia, Thailand and more, collecting stamps on their Friendship Day passports along the way. Parent volunteers went above and beyond, laying out homemade dishes from their home cultures for the kids to sample, from Thai coconut treats to Indian savouries to Australian meat pies.
Different cultures, one friendship, one Singapore. That is the SFMS spirit, and we could not be prouder of our students for embracing it so wholeheartedly. 💙

Preparing for AEIS? Your child’s education doesn’t have to pause while you prepare.
At St Francians, students can continue their regular studies, strengthen their English and Mathematics foundations, and work towards AEIS all at the same time, in a structured and supportive school environment.
And whichever path comes next, whether that’s a government school placement or continuing further at SFMS, your child keeps moving forward. There’s more than one way to stay on track.
Reach out to us today to find out more about AEIS preparation at SFMS.

Three SFMS students took Singapore to Oxford for the 2026 NEC Global Round (UK), part of the World Youth Forum – Future Economics Leadership Summit! 🎓🇬🇧
Competing alongside young economists from around the world, our students explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping markets, competition and society, revisiting Adam Smith’s “invisible hand” for the age of AI.
From an economics qualifying test and masterclass to a British Parliamentary debate and formal academic paper, this was a full journey from ideas to rigorous research.
We’re proud to share that our team brought home the Youth Scholars Award, with Chen Beini also earning the National EconYouth Spark Award for individual distinction.
Congratulations to our young economists for representing SFMS with curiosity, courage and teamwork on the global stage!
