Yesterday, on 18 October 2025, our student councillors came together to participate in the Mid-Autumn Festival in the most festive and heartwarming way! 🎉 The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and laughter. The air was filled with the sounds of joy as students and teachers joined in on the fun — playing games and soaking in the spirit of togetherness. A huge shoutout to the student councillors for their hard work and enthusiasm in making the event such a memorable one.

Today, the Student Council had the pleasure of participating in Limbang’s 10th Anniversary Celebration at De La Salle!
Our game booths were a huge success — filled with vibrant energy, laughter, and lots of smiles.
A big thank you to everyone who came down and made the day so memorable!

Today, marks the day of the Student Leaders’ Camp. We began the day with lots of fun at the trampoline park, filled with energy and laughter.
In the evening, we came together for bonding games with Councillors, CCA Leaders, Peer Support Leaders, and Class Chairpersons. It was a meaningful time of teamwork and connection.

Today marked the third day of orientation for the Sec 1 students. They kicked off the morning with Mass Game 2, where they had the chance to compete against other classes in a fun and spirited environment. Following the games, the students spent more time bonding with their classmates, guided by their OCLs. The excitement continued as they began preparing a very special performance for the upcoming campfire, making the day both fun and memorable!

Second day of orientation! Today was all about building stronger bonds as our sec 1 students participated in a variety of fun and engaging bonding activities. Led by their OCLs, the students took part in bonding games designed to help them connect and form new friendships. In the midst of it all, classes 1 Empathy and 1 Determination participated in an exciting Amazing race, where they not only explored the school but also took part in a series of fun and interactive games. It was a perfect mix of adventure and teamwork, helping them get to know both their school and each other. We can’t wait for the remaining days of orientation! The best is yet to come. Today was the first day of school. Our Secondary 1 students were greeted with a warm welcome during the opening ceremony! The OCLs had a fun surprise in store, presenting each class with a unique movie character, making the day extra special. Stay tuned for more exciting activities and adventures as our new Secondary 1 students begin their journey!

On 14 September 2024, the Council's Mid-Autumn Festival booths at Limbang Park were a resounding success. The community flocked to our vibrant displays, relishing traditional mooncakes, mesmerizing lanterns, and engaging activities. Councillors and attendees alike shared a delightful evening of games, cultural connection, and community spirit under the radiant full moon.

Our councillors served as facilitators at this year's Voices of Youth - Post National Day Dialogue. We were honoured to work alongside fellow student leaders from Kranji Secondary & Unity Secondary as we led participants to discuss 4 topics: bilingualism, whether every school a good school, different pathways to success and the role of technology in the classroom.

During the panel discussion, we had the opportunity to ask questions about Higher Mother Tongue languages and how to enhance the availability of national language programs. This was really insightful as everyone was deeply engaged and eager to learn from the panel members.

We are grateful for the opportunity to not just pick up public speaking & facilitation skills but also to gain a broader perspective of the national issues raised during the National Day Rally.
