Belated post after wrapping up two student recital sessions last year! I was pretty proud of how all my students stepped up for the actual performance (compared to how they usually play in class 🤣). Here’s to looking forward to more positive career changes in the new lunar new year!

Aaand that’s a wrap folks! It was a lovely casual recital at library@esplanade, and a successful joint recital with MyOneMusic (MOM) piano studio. I love watching my students grow. Hope the next venue is just as pleasing!

A student who was with me for close to 2 years recently achieved a merit for her ABRSM piano exam. She came to me having failed her grade 2 exam previously, with severe technique issues and no proper musical appreciation of what she was playing. Although the time we had together was not enough to complete the revamp of her technique, she did work really hard at the end, and I’m proud of her for that last burst of intensive effort! 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻
