🎉 Congratulations to Nanyang Asst Prof Ye Chunchun and CEE PhD student Koo Pooi Ling on their recognition at the International Congress on Membranes and Membrane Processes (ICOM 2026)!
🏆Asst Prof Ye Chunchun received the NAMS Young Membrane Scientist Award, recognising outstanding early-career contributions to membrane science and technology.
🏆 Koo Pooi Ling received the Student Poster Award for her research on membrane-separated electrochlorination to support more sustainable water treatment.

Meet Dr Samuel Ng - our PhD Student Speaker from the Class of 2026! 🎓🎉
Samuel first completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering before continuing his academic journey by pursuing a PhD in the same field.
During his PhD, he served as a Teaching Assistant for undergraduate laboratory sessions. Through preparing lessons and mentoring students, he discovered a passion for teaching. These experiences played a significant role in shaping his aspiration to become an educator.
Today, he is a lecturer teaching Geotechnical Engineering at the School of Architecture and Built Environment in Singapore Polytechnic (SP).

🌱 Passionate about tackling environmental challenges, Jovan Chee pursued a double degree in Environmental Engineering and Economics to gain a broader perspective on sustainability.
🏅 Jovan is a recipient of the Lee Kuan Yew Gold Medal and the Professor Sir John Hicks and Lady Ursula Hicks Gold Medal.
As he embarks on the next chapter of his career with KPMG, Jovan aspires to contribute to evidence-based policymaking in the long term, particularly in the areas of sustainability, climate change, and resource management.
