On 19 March 2026, the Peirce Secondary community came together for a meaningful afternoon of giving. About 40 parents and students hand-delivered dinner meals to nearly 200 seniors in Ang Mo Kio and Bishan. What may seem like a simple act turned into something much more — an afternoon filled with warm smiles, heartfelt conversations, and genuine human connection.
Beyond delivering meals, this experience became a valuable lesson for our students. They witnessed firsthand the importance of empathy, kindness, and gratitude — values that go beyond the classroom and into everyday life.
Most heartening of all was seeing a different side of our students. Many stepped up willingly to help pack and distribute the meals, showing responsibility, initiative, and care for others. It was inspiring to watch them rise to the occasion, working together and giving their time and energy to serve the community.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible — every small act truly makes a big difference.
PPSG will be organising another session in May/June, and we invite interested parents to join us! Do keep a lookout for the sign-up details in the PPSG WhatsApp group. ♥
