MapleBear West Coast

As part of the Health Promotion Board‘s dental health programme, the JK children learnt the importance of caring for their teeth through hands-on activities.
They practised the correct toothbrushing technique using a dental model, explored how to choose an appropriate toothbrush, and learnt why regular dental check-ups are important. This session encouraged good oral hygiene habits, independence, and personal responsibility in maintaining healthy teeth.

Explored the concept of big and small.

The children listened attentively to the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and discussed how Mommy Bear, Daddy Bear, and Baby Bear have items of different sizes, such as bowls, chairs, and beds. They then participated in a sorting activity, classifying objects by size, including balls, books, teddy bears, cows, and leopards. To end the lesson, the children had great fun giving a big hug to our giant teddy bear while comparing its size to themselves.

双亲节庆祝

老师利用孩子们的照片制作了一份爱意满满的小礼物送给爸爸妈妈。孩子们手捧小红花，在活动当天亲手将这份充满爱的礼物送到爸爸妈妈手中，用纯真的方式表达对爸爸妈妈的爱与感谢。

To celebrate Parents’ Day, the teachers used the children‘s photos to create a heartfelt gift for their parents. Holding little red flowers, the children personally presented this loving gift to their parents on the day of the event, expressing their love and gratitude in a pure and innocent way

An exciting learning journey _ Hay Dairies Goat Farm

where they observed the goat milking process and had the opportunity to feed the goats Alfalfa hay up close.
The children were thrilled to interact closely with the goats and learn more about how they are cared for on the farm.

Afterwards, they took a nature walk at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, where they explored the surroundings and observed the beauty of the wetlands environment. It was a meaningful experience that encouraged curiosity, observation, and appreciation for nature and animals

Children read the picture book ”I want to eat durian“ and learn the words: flavourful, fragrant, smelly. Children also try to draw ”durian“. Children first observe the appearance characteristics of durian, and then paint and colour according to the teacher‘s guidance
