SG Alert Public Test

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting an island-wide public test of the SG Alert system on Sunday, 10 May 2026 at 12:00 PM

What to Expect?
- Pop-up notification with header ‘SG Alert’ (or ‘Presidential Alert’ on some older devices)
- Unique alert tone + vibration lasting ~10 seconds
- Alert will bypass silent/Do Not Disturb settings
- Only Singtel network users (including GOMO, VIVIFI, Zero1, ZYM Mobile) will receive this test

Actions for the Public:
- Update your phone OS (iOS 26.4 or later / Android Google Play System Update 1 Feb 2026 or later)
- Stay calm, read the message, and tap to acknowledge

Please note that the alert activated on 10 May is only a test. No emergency action is required.
