During the recent Diwali Celebration, we announced a vision - a series of co-branded certifications by Indian High Commission & IIT Alumni Association to uplift and empower workforces.
Today, we are proud to share that the first of this series has been successfully completed.
Organised at Westlite with the support of IIT Alumni volunteers, the program saw 100+ brothers participating, learning, and engaging with remarkable enthusiasm to learn fundamentals of AI.
The session was graced by Dr. Shilpa Ambule, High Commissioner of India, whose encouragement set the tone for impactful learning.
This is only the beginning.

The IITAAS Diwali Celebration 2025 at the Singapore Swimming Club brought together alumni, families, and dignitaries including Dr. Shilpak Ambule, High Commissioner of India to Singapore, and Mr. Shiv Khera, renowned author and motivational speaker.

The evening reflected unity, leadership, and community spirit that define IITAAS.
Over the years, IITAAS has grown into a dynamic network of leaders, innovators, and changemakers — engaging with ministers, industry pioneers, and global experts, while driving initiatives such as ComLink+, a Ministry of Social and Family Development programme supporting needy families in Singapore.

This year marked a key milestone — the launch of a co-branded certification programme with the High Commission of India, aimed at training over 25,000 migrant brother and sisters in AI, Excel, and AutoCAD.
The initiative reinforces IITAAS’s commitment to empowering communities through education, skills, and opportunity.

The success of the celebration, reflected through strong engagement and heartfelt applause received from guests, sponsors, and partners, reaffirms IITAAS’s growing role as a platform that combines cultural connection, professional collaboration, and social impact.

When Change Meets Commitment – A Powerful Evening in Singapore 🇸🇬 🇮🇳

On June 14, 2025, something beautiful happened at The Club House, Botanic on Lloyd in Singapore.

We witnessed a room full of passionate change-makers, grassroots leaders, IAS officers, and global supporters come together to talk about something that matters deeply — transforming education in India’s government schools.

Through the Vinoba Program, the Open Links Foundation (OLF) is redefining what’s possible in public education. Backed by behavioral science, cutting-edge tech, and the unstoppable spirit of young IAS officers, the initiative is now reaching:

✔ 24 districts across India

✔ 146,000+ teachers

✔ 41,000+ schools

✔ 2.7 million students

The event, led by Sanjay Dalmia (IIT Delhi, IIM Ahmedabad), wasn’t just a presentation — it was a movement in motion. We discussed challenges, celebrated grassroots wins, and explored ways we can deepen this impact together.

"Live While You’re Alive” — a message, a mindset, a movement. 🌟

IITAAS was invited to be a part of the grand book launch of “Live While You’re Alive” by the legendary Shiv Khera, hosted by Bloomsbury — and what an inspiring evening it was!

Graced by dignitaries like Dr. Shilpak Ambule, Mr. K.V. Rao, and Mr. Inderjit Singh, the event was a powerful blend of wisdom, energy, and unforgettable insights.

At the launch, Shiv Khera didn’t just share ideas — he left an imprint.
• “This life is not a dress rehearsal.”
• “Choice controls the chooser.”

In a world where we often postpone dreams & delay joy, his words were a wake-up call.

He spoke of procrastination, not just as delay, but as unjustified postponement of what truly matters.

And just when the room was deep in thought, he threw in a line that had everyone—young and old—bursting into laughter:

👉 “If your problems are getting over, maybe your invitation to the other world is ready!”
A lighthearted truth wrapped in wisdom. ✨

He called this book “an expression of myself,” and you could feel that in every word.

Not just a talk. Not just a book.
It was a reminder to stop existing & start living.
