Our Pedagogy - S.T.E.P.S

The last 'S' stands for Showmanship. In urbansteps, we believe that dance goes beyond learning & doing the steps & movement. We dance to convey a story & express different emotions that we experience as humans in our lives. We dance to explore & understand the different sides of us & show them through our performances.

Showmanship is hence key to achieving that. In our lessons, our students will hone this skill & become a dancer that touches the heart of people 💜💫

Our Street Dance Past.Present.Future Journey is the first of its kind and is an exciting opportunity for your child to be a part of a special club where they can learn, develop and have fun – all while getting trained & building their skills and portfolio for the DSA exercise.

Street Dance - Past.Present.Future will equip you with the knowledge of dance studies, techniques, performance & staging. Furthermore, it consists of lessons on DSA Interviews skills i.e. Mock Interview, Presentation & Dance Improvisation.

October the 5th is Unesco’s World Teachers’ Day which has been celebrated on the same day every year since 1994.

To promote a bond beyond the classroom, Urban Steps would like to invite all, partners, co-working staff, parents and students to share with us a little love by writing a note for any of our Urban Steps coaches, past and present. You may tie up and deposit your little note of love in our rainbow jar.

These little notes and the Rainbow Jar can be found at either Joyful Steps studio counters - Beauty World Centre or Rochester Mall.

Period of celebration will be from 03/9/21 to 05/10/21.
