Our school will celebrate Hari Raya Puasa on 6 April, Monday with an Assembly Programme themed AI-
Dilfitri: Tradition Meets Tomorrow.
The programme explores the harmony between tradition and innovation, highlighting how technology such as AI can strengthen human connections when guided by empathy, responsibility, and strong values. Students will learn about the significance of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, and we invite all students to come dressed in traditional Malay attire (e.g. baju kurung, baju Melayu,
kebaya), with school black shoes and socks.
Students who do not have ethnic costumes available are to wear their regular school uniform.
During recess, students will also have the opportunity to participate in activities that allow them to experience elements of Hari Raya traditions in a fun and hands-on way.

Our school will be commemorating Total Defence Day from 6 to 13 February 2026.
The theme for this year’s Total Defence campaign is “Together We Keep Singapore Strong”,
which focuses on Singaporeans’ readiness for crises and disruptions, and the many ways we can put Total Defence into action in our everyday lives.

During this week, students will learn about the important role they play in strengthening
Singapore’s Total Defence through a school-wide assembly programme and classroom-
based lessons conducted during CCE (FTGP). Students will also take part in engaging
recess activities on 10 and 11 February, such as games, and a pledge wall. These activities aim to help students better understand how everyone can contribute to keeping Singapore strong amid the challenges and threats we may face.

Last Friday, we celebrated more than medals and titles; we celebrated a year of personal growth that led to collective success.

✨ “Start with me, Shine with us!” ✨ reminds us that every achievement begins with a single choice: to try, to persevere, to improve, and to believe in ourselves. As each of us grows, we lift one another up—as classmates and as one Xishan Community. 🌟

To our Prize-winners and staff awardees: congratulations! 🏆 Your dedication and consistency light the way for others. We’re proud of you. 👏

Our PSG booth was abuzz with energy and excitement for our Primary One 2026 orientation day! Parents and students eagerly stopped by to learn more, ask questions and engage in meaningful conversations. The turnout was great, and the interactions were truly fruitful, giving us the opportunity to connect, share valuable insights and make a positive first impression. Looking forward to welcome our new primary ones in a couple months time! 📚🎒✨
