This little girl loves lots but struggles to draw it. Without drawing it for her or her tracing over the picture, how do you help her visualize it within 10 minutes?

The earlier chapters of The Little Prince are wonderfully inspiring if you can appropriate it for young kids.

After months of persistent doodles, once a week, 8-9:30pm, Constance and Lin both students in my senior class, produced works of magic.

There's the use of saturation of color, mixing off colors, brush strokes, timing to apply layers, etc besides composition, values, shapes, edges, rhythm ....
