Rainy mornings mean we can’t go out for our nature walks, but we still managed to have fun today with the ‘Oi, Chef!’ card game from @duck.dabomb! ⁣ ⁣ The kids liked “shuffling” the cards, mahjong-style, and competed to find the most number of matching pairs. I then taught them to play “Build the Sandwich” according to the order cards, and N was most thrilled that he won the first round. This game actually introduces the concept of coding, and you can slowly make the game more complicated as the kids get more familiar with it. This is really learning through play at its best. 😍⁣ ⁣ There are quite a few ways to play with these cards, and best of all, you can make up your own gameplay. Some games include “4-of-a-kind”, “Memory Match” and “Scramble”.
