The City Council of Davao, through Councilor Antoinette G. Principe during her privilege speech, formally recognized the successful hosting of the Actions for Earth - Global Youth Summit Philippines held in Davao City last March 26-30.
Organized by Hemispheres Foundation, Ann Phua, Shalma Mimie Pearls, and Students' Environmental Alliance of Davao , the summit brought together young leaders from across the country and beyond to collaborate on climate action, sustainability, and global citizenship, positioning Davao City as a hub for youth-driven innovation and global engagement.
Present during the recognition were the three outstanding DABAWENYOUTH winners, proudly wearing green:
