Since the launch of the Actions for Earth-Global Youth Summit in January 2014 in Singapore, which brought together approximately 500 young environmentalists, we have successfully established 28 Actions for Earth - Global Youth Summits (GYS) across South East Asia, Asia and the Pacific, South America, Central Asia, and Africa.

This initiative has enabled us to connect with over 115 countries, clearly demonstrating the pressing need for a healthier environment. Youth leaders are showcasing innovative sustainability solutions that contribute to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals globally.

Following the successful conclusion of GYS Davao Philippines 2026, we now eagerly anticipate the opportunity for young people worldwide to showcase their innovative solutions for a healthier planet.

The City Council of Davao, through Councilor Antoinette G. Principe during her privilege speech, formally recognized the successful hosting of the Actions for Earth - Global Youth Summit Philippines held in Davao City last March 26-30.

Organized by Hemispheres Foundation, Ann Phua, Shalma Mimie Pearls, and Students' Environmental Alliance of Davao , the summit brought together young leaders from across the country and beyond to collaborate on climate action, sustainability, and global citizenship, positioning Davao City as a hub for youth-driven innovation and global engagement.

Present during the recognition were the three outstanding DABAWENYOUTH winners, proudly wearing green:

Our team of young environmentalists from Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines, affiliated with Hemispheres, is presently conducting research on microplastics alongside a distinguished scientist and researcher aboard the yacht Nora Simrad in Cebu, Philippines. The team visited a local community on Cebu Island and a resort island to assess the effects of waste pollution.

As we conclude 2025, we are pleased to present the final season of Actions for Earth - Global Youth Summit (GYS) held in Antofagasta, Chile from November 5-7, 2025.

The green warriors' achievement in showcasing their initiatives to protect the natural environment is truly commendable.

Congratulations to all the presenters, and we extend a special applause to the winning teams for their outstanding efforts.
