Welcome back to school, SMUggers! 👋 This coming week will be the 2nd week of school already! For this semester, we’ve launched “Share-Lah”, where you can conveniently borrow an umbrella to shelter you from rain or shine! 🌦

Run 1 of Freshmen Orientation concluded last week with a blast!!!💥 From competing to emerge as the best clan to learning mass dance together, we hope that all freshmen had a fun time throughout the 3 days! More importantly, we hope that valuable friendships has been forged along the way and that you’ve taken away one thing or another from this experience! ☺️ With that, we look forward to welcome two more runs of freshmen attending FO! ✨

Freshmen Orientation 2019: The Ascent.🏞
As part of the summer events line up with the theme of The Summit, this year’s FO theme is named The Ascent. It revolves around being in a game 🎮, where freshmen, as PLAYERS of the game, will represent different clans. Each clan tries to emerge as THE ONE who reaches the summit of the mountain FIRST. 🏆

Reliving the moments of FO 2018 as this year’s FO will be happening real soon! ☺️ As SMU’s biggest freshmen event in the summer, look forward to a line-up of games and performances 🤼♂️🎭, as well as meet new friends 🙆♀️💁♂️ and get the first taste of life in SMU! ✨
This July and August, 3 runs of Freshmen Orientation will be held just for you! So be sure to attend one of the runs by ‼️accepting the invitation‼️ sent to your email from the Freshmen Orientation Organising Committee upon matriculation! If you’re wondering about the dates of runs to check your availability, they are:
Run 1: 9 to 11 July
Run 2: 17 to 19 July
Run 3: 31 July to 2 Aug
