Our first Area 12 ATC at Camp Resilience! ⛺

From 20 to 22 October 2023, Area 12 had our first physical ATC at Pulau Ubin! Over the span of three days, our 71 Secondary 2 campers went through highs and lows in their first exposure to the rugged environment of Pulau Ubin! 🧭🔥🥫🪢🪵

On 12 August, we were invited by NPCC HQ for a sharing session regarding the Table Top Exercise (TTX) held in March 23

📌 The purpose was to allow participants to understand the considerations and processes behind large scale events like ATC!⛺️

📌 We also aimed to equip participants with fundamental knowledge on how to carry out a TTX for their future area events.

📌 Best practices and knowledge were exchanged amongst participants through the activities! 🗣️

Once again, Area 12 would like to thank everyone who came down for the session to show support 🙏 🎉

On 19 & 20 June, Area 12 held its’ Leadership & Mentoring Course physically, for the first time since the pandemic!

Our Cadet Leaders were immersed in the stages of group development following the Tuckman’s model

To our newly-appointed CLs, it was pleasant to see you shift from individualistic mindsets to working as highly effective teams. Do treasure the moments and remember what you have learnt in LMSC in your CL-ship. Continue to empower your juniors! ✨

Area 12 Secondary 1 Swearing-In secured! ✨

On 6 May 2023, our Area held our Secondary 1 Swearing-In cm Appreciation Ceremony at Catholic High School. We introduced and welcomed our new Secondary 1 cadets to the area and also showed our appreciation to our newly minted Station Inspectors of the Area!

To our Secondary 1 cadets, a warm welcome to our blue family and we hope to see you grow and develop with us. ☺️

To our Station Inspectors and graduating batches of cadets, thank you for your service to the Corps! 🫡🔥

ATC TTX SECURED! 🏕️

As we’re resuming physical ATC at Camp Resilience, we initiated a tabletop exercise to simulate the challenges and processes of running a full-scale camp.

This gave our new instructors a better glimpse of what it’s like conducting camps, pre-covid!

Kudos to our ATC Committee, Panel Team and our Instructors for making this project a success!
