The Singapore Association for Private Education SAPE is organising its inaugural career fair event from 14 - 18 February 2022. This event will provide a platform for private education institutions (PEIs) to collaborate and organise a career fair under one roof so that the pool of students, graduates, alumni, and employers will be able to benefit from it. It aims to help boost the current employment market and connect PEI students and graduates with the wide pool of employers within the PEI network. This event will also support members to achieve better graduate outcomes in terms of employability and employment rates.
Due to the current fluid situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, this event will be held virtually. The event will kick-off on 14 February 10am with an opening address by the Minister of State for Education and for Manpower, Ms Gan Siow Huang, following by an online Career Conversation segment with an impressive line-up of industry veterans and expertise.
SAPE has appointed FINDSGJOBS Ltd to provide an online job matching portal for participating employers / graduates and HELLOMRKINOBI Pte Ltd (a.k.a. Kinobi Asia) as the provider of a resume-building platform for students/graduates as an additional resource to enhance their employment chances.
Do note that the first 300 registered job seekers will receive a complimentary resume builder from Kinobi Asia! To register, please click here: https://sapevirtualcareerfair.findsgjobs.com/

We all need a little morale boost once in a while. The same goes for our healthcare workers who’ve been selflessly and tirelessly working hard to take care of all of us. The pandemic has taken a toll on them and their families but these everyday heroes have never given up.
The youths from and would like to show their appreciation to them and with more people participating, the more messages they can gather to give our healthcare workers a much needed dose of encouragement.
Here’s how :
Step 1: Visit www.yntuc.sg/uheart2021
Step 2: Pen your heartfelt message of encouragement/appreciation by 17th December 2021
We hope to garner 3,000 messages, have them printed, and distributed to 3,000 healthcare workers island-wide, together with a little gift before the year ends.
Giving U a Boost - U Heart 2021 As the nation begins administering the booster jabs, let us also give our healthcare workers a little morale boost! Join us in showing appreciation to 3,000 of our healthcare workers at the vaccination centres and nursing homes.

Invitation to Participate in Accounting Innovation Challenge 2021
We would like to invite MDIS students to join us at the 4th Accounting Innovation Challenge (AIC), which is jointly organised by the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC) and CPA Australia. ISCA is the strategic partner of AIC 2021.
As the only accounting hackathon in Singapore, the AIC brings together the accounting industry, technology start-ups and education institutions to collaborate and co-create innovative solutions to address common business challenges faced in the sector. Last year, 82 teams pitched ideas to drive innovation and productivity in the accounting industry.
The hackathon is sponsored and supported by the accounting industry, government-linked organisations and ecosystem enablers:
Big 4 accounting firms
Accountancy professional bodies: ACCA, ICAEW, IMA, ISCA
Government partners and institutes of higher learning: ACRA, IMDA, NYP, NTU, NP, SIT, SMU, SP, TP
Ecosystem enablers: Action Community for Entrepreneurship, Singapore FinTech Association
AIC 2021 will be run as a fully virtual hackathon to ensure the safety and health of our participants. It will consist of a series of activities starting with an information session webinar on 18 August 2021 and end with a closed-door finals on 8 October 2021.
Participants can connect with leading corporates and industry practitioners to kickstart collaborative innovation, as well as receive mentorship and industry guidance to validate solutions. Winning teams stand to win prizes ranging from $2,000 to $5,000.
We welcome both teams and individuals, from all backgrounds (accounting, business, IT, etc) to sign up for the hackathon. Individuals will be provided assistance to form teams with other participants. Participants can register at https://accountinghack.sg.
