HOT OFF THE PRESS! (HOP) SHORT-FILMS PROJECT: PART 3 (27 Nov to 17 Dec 2016)
Workshop Venue: 2 Orchard Link, *SCAPE. Level 4

3 week intensive, free multidisciplinary workshops for all young people ages 6 to 20 years old. Be a part of producing 3 pivotal short-films that are written and directed by teens and youths.

Overview of HOP Project:

WEEK 1
Day 1 - All participants to gather at Situation Room, Level 4 Hubquarters

To cast, rehearse, design, compose and prepare promotions for 3 short films written by 10 young people on xenophobia, mental illness & su***de, body image & cyber-bullying.

Four (4) rotating workshops in: Music, Production & Promo, Cinematography & Editing, Auditioning for film.
At the end of day 1, you choose your specialisation in order of preference:
• Acting
• Music
• Production (set decoration/wardrobe/hair/make-up)
• Promotions (PR, design, marketing)

Day 2 - Auditions for the 3 films (if you chose acting as choice 1); All others go to their specialisation.

WEEK 2 , 3 & 4
Day 3 to Day 14 - Rehearsals, Music, Production & Promotion materials created

Day 15- Debriefing & Showcase
- Presentations of the completed works from ALL specialisations
- Shooting schedule will be submitted by the end of December 2016.

HOP PART 4: Filming Period in Jan - Feb 2017 ( 2 weekends maximum required per participant per short film)

SG Creations is a non-profit arts organisation that provides a FREE professional and artistic platform for all young people ages 6 to 20 years old.

Through our projects we also aim to actively and meaningfully engage young people particularly during the holidays. We invite your students to be part of a process where they can be empowered through the creative arts!

raiSE (Centre of Social Enterprise) & RP invited TTCG Pte. Ltd. over to share about what the company does and how it raise awareness of social entrepreneurship and also inspire students in the social entrepreneurship space!

On the 20/3/2015 - 22/3/2015, we had a group of 12 students from Coral Secondary School taking part in a Time Out Programme.

Students from STC embark on a 3 days self-development and team-bonding journey. They went on a learning journey to Lasalle College of the Arts to get inspirations and ideas for their Space Design Project which maximise the use of school spaces.
