hi guys. thanks for your supporting=)
Over the past 15 yrs we've seen a surge in the “green” building industry.
Green Building practices have been utilized since the energy crisis in the 1970s. The concept was never brought to the forefront until our world was struck with a struggling economy and outrageous fuel prices. The environmental, social and economic benefits of green building are all compelling. Add health rewards, and sustainable building becomes impossible to ignore.
green your life like this=)
Light bulbs: incandescent light bulbs ⇒ compact fluorescents lamps (CFLs) or LED bulbs. The once most common type of lighting used in homes---incandescent light bulbs are being phased out all around the globe. Brazil and Venezuela started back in 2005, the European Union, Switzerland and Australia began their phase out in 2009, and other phase-outs are scheduled in Argentina, Russia, Canada and Malaysia in 2012 and 2014. They are gradually losing ground to CFL&LED bulbs--Both use much less energy and last much longer.
Paint:
traditional paints⇒ no-VOC or low-VOC paints. These paints don’t release chemicals into your home or office when dried, providing better indoor air quality. This also applies to furniture paints and varnishes
Water:
1) toilet ✚ dual flush system: full cistern flush & partial cistern flush. Not only saving water, but also installing flow restrictors in your existing taps can reduce the water you use when washing your hands and doing the dishes.
2) water heater: tankless water heater ⇒water is heated on demand, saving energy
3) shower: low flow shower heads and LED faucets that turn on and off automatically will definitely save you water
Walls:
cavity wall insulation 35% of the energy is wasted through the walls of a house. Walls leak around 33% of the heat lost in the average home.so filling the cavity with an insulating material becomes one of the most effective ways to save up to 15% of the energy bill and cut CO2emissions at home.
