𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙮 𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙙𝙤!
Here I was on a personal retreat in India last month. Taking a break from performing, teaching, and coaching, to disconnect and simply be still. But the Universe, it seems, had a powerful reminder waiting for me about my true work.
My roommate at the ashram had lost his voice - not for a week or a month, but for over two years. He had seen doctors, tried different treatments, but nothing worked. Eventually, it cost him his job, affected his relationships, and he lost his confidence in life. It was like he had lost his light.
In just one session, we worked on the root of his issue - the fear that was causing tension and constriction in his throat. We focused on breath, release, and the intention to be heard. By the end, the strained whispers were replaced by clear, audible speech. The relief and joy on his face was everything as his voice came back!
This incident also cemented a core belief in me: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁! When your voice blocked, it's often more than a physical issue. It's a sign that something deeper might be happening within you.
So on this special occasion of Deepavali, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙗𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙚𝙧?

Last but not least, I'm grateful to Singapore International Festival of Arts for coming to the heartlands for the very first time! Because arts is for the people and I believe that it is always the community that needs it the most! 🙏

𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙙𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛?
In this busy world that we live in, it's so easily to get caught up with work, life, and family that we forget to include time for ourselves! So thank you Yvonnea, Lokz Tan, Aamaal for taking time out last Sunday for the voice healing workshop!
It wasn't just a fun morning of learning and exploration but it was also a morning of deep reflection and connection. Life stories were shared 📖, emotions were released 😢, and buried dreams were uncovered 🌈 through moving the body and unleashing the voice.
And once again, I was reminded that...
→ Voice isn’t about “sounding good” - it’s about connecting to the truth of who we are.
→ Our bodies hold wisdom that words can’t even touch and articulate.
→ Healing happens when we’re brave enough to sound messy!

The past 5 days have been a mind-blowing journey into the world of Numbers and Numerology! 5️⃣4️⃣3️⃣2️⃣1️⃣ Thank you 俊安老师 for flying down specially to Singapore to conduct this course for us!
Combining not only Western numerology with Eastern philosophies and also Statistics with Psychology, the last 5 days was an in-depth journey into understanding myself and also the people whom I love! 🙏❤️
My greatest takeaway was discovering the gifts and talents that we are born with and how we can maximise them to the fullest potential to create the world that we want!
As mentioned in "The Art of War" (孙子兵法), all battles can be won once we have a clear understanding of ourselves and the people around us (知己知彼，百战百胜).
And that's why I'm super excited to integrate this powerful tool into my coaching process to create more growth insights for all my clients! 🔥
