The Si Ling family came together to celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday with this year’s theme, “𝑴𝒂𝒋𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒉 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒂: 𝑮𝒐 𝑩𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅!”

The celebration was filled with joy, pride and togetherness as our pupils took to the stage with wonderful performances by our Guitar, Choir and Dance CCAs. Our Primary 1 pupils also delighted everyone with their cheerful dance to Sparkle, filling the hall with smiles and excitement. ✨

Beyond the performances, our pupils reflected on what it means to call Singapore home. Through moments of belonging, appreciation, remembrance and unity, they were reminded that a strong nation is built when we show respect, care for one another and stand together as one community.

From our Primary 4 pupils’ Values-in-Action (VIA) efforts to expressing appreciation for our dedicated non-teaching staff, the celebration reminded us that every act of kindness and every contribution, no matter how small, helps make Singapore a better home for all. ❤️

We ended the day with laughter and fun through classroom games and activities. A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who joined us and shared in this special celebration.

As we celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday, may we continue to cherish the values that unite us and inspire one another to go beyond for our families, our community and our nation.

📚🇸🇬 Morning Assembly Talk with Author Mr Shawn Seah!

We were thrilled to welcome local author Mr Shawn Seah, the storyteller behind the Our Amazing Heroes and Our Amazing Pioneers series, to our school! 🌟

During the assembly, Mr Seah brought Singapore's history to life by sharing the inspiring stories of local heroes such as Dr Ee Peng Liang, Mrs Elizabeth Choy and Captain Ho Weng Toh. Through their courage, compassion and resilience, students gained a deeper appreciation of how ordinary Singaporeans made extraordinary contributions to our nation. 📖💛

Mr Seah also shared how family roots and values shaped the lives of these remarkable individuals, encouraging our students to reflect on what it means to love and appreciate our homeland.

With National Day just around the corner, the session was a timely reminder that heroes come from all walks of life, inspiring our students to cherish Singapore's rich history and the people who helped shape it. 🇸🇬✨

🌟 Celebrating Our Tamil Language Competition! 🌟

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent Tamil Language Competition! Our students across all levels showcased their Tamil language fluency, confidence and creativity through events such as My Dream, Talent Time, Storytelling, Let’s Advertise, The Personality I Admire and Skit. 🎭📚

Through these performances, our students strengthened their communication skills and expressed themselves with confidence while celebrating the joy of Mother Tongue learning.

A huge thank you to our wonderful parents for your unwavering support and encouragement. Seeing the proud smiles on your faces as your children performed on stage made the event even more special! 💖🏆
