If nature is art, these are the divas 🙂‍↕️ From sea cucumbers to soft corals, aside from serving looks, they’re also keeping our ecosystems alive — recycling nutrients, filtering the water, and sheltering marine life ✨

Meet Melody! 🎵 She just graduated from River Valley High School and is awaiting acceptance into Environmental Studies at either NUS or NTU 🌏.

She is very eco-conscious in her everyday habits, whether it’s keeping trash to recycle or finishing every piece of food in her meals 🍽️. Believing that collective action is key to systemic change, she wants to understand people’s mindsets towards the environment 🌱. Outside of work, she is an avid bookworm who can often be found curled up with a novel, a comic, or a humorous piece of online fiction 📚✨

Meet Wai Mun! 🌿 Curious, a little lost, yet every bit unhinged, he is excited to learn about everything green before pursuing his studies at the School of Biological Sciences at NTU 🎓. In his free time, you might find him looking up random topics that pique his interest 🔍, going for a walk 🚶‍♂️, or watching YouTube ▶️

Meet Caleb! 🌱 He is an incoming freshman at NUS, majoring in Environmental Studies 🌏🎓. He has a keen interest in making sustainability more accessible and engaging for communities and individuals, and believes that sustainability needs to be appreciated before it can be adopted as a lifestyle.

In his free time, you can find him hanging out with friends 🧑‍🤝‍🧑, reading a book 📚, or searching for the next best Hokkien mee around town! 🍜

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri from all of us at Green Nudge! 🌙✨ In a season of new outfits, what would it look like to honour what has always been there? As beautiful festive looks fill our feeds, we take a moment to look back and honour the sarong — a simple, versatile fabric worn across Southeast Asia for centuries. More than clothing, it represents identity and community, and a connection to the communities and traditions that shape us. Wishing all a joyous celebration filled with love, light, and cherished moments with loved ones! 💚🥳

Happy Global Recycling Day! ♻ What drives people to return bottles? And how can we design systems that are coherent, reliable, and aligned with how people actually behave? 🤔 shares his reflections on the upcoming launch of the Beverage Container Return Scheme (BCRS), coming at a time when recycling is widely accepted, yet fitting it seamlessly into daily life remains the challenge.

P.S. From April to May 2026, with support from BCRS Ltd, Green Nudge will partner with Active Ageing Centres and community organisations to run outreach sessions to guide them through the scheme and make participation easier. Organisations interested in these outreach opportunities are welcome to contact us! 💚

Meet Gretel! She has just completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Environmental Science. 🍃 Gretel is passionate about community building and inclusivity in the realms of sustainability and biodiversity.

Working across both policy and on-the-ground efforts, she believes that for transformative change to happen, sustainability has to be tackled from both the bottom up and the top down. When she’s not working or volunteering 🌏, you’ll likely find her observing macaques 🐒 or playing games!

Recognise these types? 😔 This Valentine’s Day, love the good ones. Let go of the rest. 😉🌹

What happens after we say goodbye to our electronics? 📱 Over the years, we’ve worked with Virogreen - Singapore to bring schools, communities, and corporates closer to the often unseen world of e-waste recycling — from facility trails to the launch of their new visitor centre! But we kept asking: how can this learning reach those who don’t usually get the chance to experience it? 🤔

We're thrilled to introduce Wired for Change: From Education to Application — a community e-waste mobile exhibition that brings learning directly to schools and communities! An initiative by Virogreen - Singapore, in partnership with ALBA Singapore, Institute of Technical Education, Singapore, Green Nudge, and supported by the SG Eco Fund, the exhibition bridges education and real-world application, making responsible e-waste recycling more accessible and easier to trust. 🤩

The exhibition launched on 21 December 2025 at Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre, with Mr. Jackson Lam, Member of Parliament for Nee Soon GRC, as our Guest of Honour. Thank you to everyone who joined us as we explored the exhibits together! 💚

With its first run completed, the journey continues this week with its next stop at Xishan Primary School, with more schools and communities coming up! Want to bring the mobile exhibition to your school or community? Reach out to us at [email protected] and let’s take e-waste action together. 💪

⚠️ Note: The mobile exhibition is fully booked till April 2026. Slots from May 2026 onwards are subject to availability.
