Intricately woven rattan baskets by our talented weavers in Ulu Limbang. A disappearing weaving skill, curated and debut at

Our weavers, the Gereji sisters whose grandfather, Tok Polisi Agan Jeluan was one of the early days great Penan nomads. The decendant still live in resettlement in Ulu Limbang. Under our craft preservation of traditional weaving, the women folk continues to weave rattan craft for Helping Hands Penan. It's tedious work of harvesting the rattan from the forest, ridding the thorns and stripping into thin strands and drying in the sun for days. The coloured strips are processed with plant dye.

The last pic 'Tok Polisi Agan Jeluan' - an oil painting by one of HHP Directors, Tan Wei Kheng.
