SMU Maritime Club

SMU Maritime Club SMU Maritime Club was established in 2014 as a student representative CCA focused on navigating the Maritime Industry.

Under the purview of the SMU Maritime Merchants Society (MMS), the Maritime Chapter aims to strengthen ties between Maritime undergrads, alumni, and the industry. The club was founded by a group of Maritime Economics Track (MET) students to create an eco-system of well-connected, like-minded students and alumni who are passionate about taking lead in the Maritime industry. The club would be engaged in research activities as well as events throughout the year for networking opportunities among peers, alumni and industry partners. As part of the international trade sector, the club is also a linked counterpart to the commodities focused SMU Merchants' club.
