𝐻𝒶𝓅𝓅𝓎 𝓃𝑒𝓌 𝓎𝑒𝒶𝓇 𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎𝑜𝓃𝑒 ❤️!
It’s time of the year again. We use it to reset, to make new year resolutions, to set goals and to work toward to be the better version of ourselves.
Are you the type that love setting goals? Or you are the type that hate it because you don’t want to disappoint yourself ?
How to we keep ourself motivated? How do we develop the path to move toward our goals?
In yoga philosophy, there is TAPAS (not the small dishes you have in Spanish restaurants :) . TAPAS means heat, the inner fire 🔥, the self discipline that keeps you motivated to sticks to your goals.
How to cultivate TAPAS?
1️⃣DO THE HARD THINGS. Challenge yourself to meditate everyday, challenge to workout 3 times a week, challenge yourself have a social media detox. I promise you’ll build resilience and confidence through overcoming obstacles. 🙏
2️⃣INTENTION goes a long way! Give meanings to your goals. Why it is important for you to achieve your goal?
3️⃣CONSISTENCY is the game changer. Good things & changes take time ! I almost guarantee you will not get six pac from one week of gym. Start from small realistic and sustainable habits. Your daily routines and habits should set you up for your goals.
4️⃣SELF LOVE 💕. Like Lewis Howes said treat very small victory like you just won the Super Bowl. More celebrates and less self criticism.
5️⃣SIMPLICITY is the new black. Clean out the clutter and letting go of then unnecessary will help you to create physical and emotional space to focus on your goal. Create an environment that help you to nourish your goals. Save your time and energy for what truly matters in your life 🌈.
A year from now you will wish your started now ! Set up a vision board to make yourself proud this year .
I am super excited to hear your game plan for 2022!
Love,
Janet
