Here are some Piano Highlights from our 2025 edition of Bach in the Subways @

Bach’s music deeply impressed Mozart and Beethoven, yet it was forgotten for a long time. Only two hundred years after Bach’s death, Robert Schumann suggested that a special society should publish all of Bach’s compositions. Fast forward to the year 2010, Bach in the Subways began with one cellist performing in New York’s City subway station, and now in 2025, it has become an international movement to promote classical music. To honour Johann Sebastian Bach's 340th birthday, 17 of our students and 5 parents performed a selection of Bach's works on cello and piano during a vibrant Bach in the Subways event on March 31, 2025, at the Grand Piano @ ArtJam Science Park. (More Video highlights to come)
