Our final AJC College Day

“Good teachers don’t impact for a year but for a lifetime.”

Over the recent Teachers’ Day weekend, AJCAA snail-mailed a special edition of AJC to our former staff members who have served the college from 1984-2018.

For 35 good years, AJC staff members nurtured outstanding servant leaders who serve the community with a big heart. This is our little gift of appreciation to these dedicated educators.

As a follow up of our proposal during the Annual General Meeting on 27 March 2021, we will be holding an Extraordinary General Meeting on 26 June 2021 via Zoom to obtain the consent of the voting membership for the dissolution of the Anderson Junior College Alumni Association to be effected by 31 December
2021, in accordance with paragraph 17.1 of the Constitution of the Anderson Junior College Alumni Association.

The closing date for Book Voucher application submission has been extended to 07 Oct 2020 due to an earlier issue with the application form which has since been rectified. AJCAA apologises for any anxiety and trouble cauaed.

This year, AJC Alumni Association (AJCAA) continues with AJCAA Book Voucher to help needy alumni undergraduates.

This award aims to complement other financial assistance schemes that you have already been awarded with.

This award will be disbursed by cheque, payable to you, for your daily expenses.

Application submission period is from now until 30 SEP 2020, 2359H.

AJCAA AGM 2020 // Thank you to all who took time off their Saturday mornings to join in our first ever virtual AGM. It was a fruitful session as we looked back on our journey in the past year and prepare for what's ahead.

PS: We even had an alumni member attending the AGM in the wee hours of the morning all the way from UK!

It's that time of the year again! Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, our AGM this year will be held online via Zoom, an online meeting platform, at 9.30am on 20 June 2020.

The agenda for the AGM is as follows:
- To confirm the Minutes of the 2019 AGM that was held on 23 March 2019
- To receive and, if approved, adopt the audited Financial Statements for the year ended (31 Dec 2019)
- President’s Report.
- Any other matters.

In light of the recent circuit breaker measures implemented by the government, the AJCAA exco has decided to defer our Annual General Meeting to a later date when the restrictions are lifted.

[ASRJC College Day 2019]
Today, we are gathered in the AJC campus to celebrate the achievements of the ASRJC students! As we walked with some students donned in their white tops and dark green bottoms into the school gates, we were fondly reminded of our journey to AJ back in those days.

It was heartening to hear both AJ and SR'S heritage being acknowledged throughout the ceremony. We also got a chance to speak with some SR alumni commitee members and shared about our future plans. Looking forward to working with Mr Mano, the merged college's principal, to serve the current students and all of the past AJcians 🧡
