Amazing preparation and presentations — Congratulations to all student winners! Students delved deeper into social issues in Singapore using design thinking, the iceberg model, and empathy mapping, then turned insights into action through:

• Reach Out – 1 for 1 Pillow Exchange
• Saturday Movement – Distribution Essentials & Serving Hot Meals

🎓 A holistic programme featuring inspiring FYP showcases related to AI, Tai Chi ball and attitudes towards persons with special needs.

Republic Polytechnic students recently had the privilege of volunteering alongside the athletes of Special Olympics Singapore at the Adventure Learning Centres — and what a day it was!

From navigating ropes courses to tackling climbing walls, our student volunteers supported and cheered on the athletes as they took on every challenge with heart, grit, and unstoppable smiles.

💬 “Their courage and joy were contagious. We went there to help, but we ended up learning so much more from them,” shared Shantell Marsall.

This collaboration is more than just an event — it’s a celebration of inclusion, resilience, and the power of community. A huge thank you to Special Olympics Singapore for the opportunity to walk (and climb!) alongside your amazing athletes. 💪❤

🎥 A Sneak Peek into Our Students' Work Attachment at Alexandra Hospital!

Our Diploma in Sports and Health (DSH) students embarked on their first Short-Term Work Attachment (STWA) at Alexandra Hospital, and it’s been an incredible learning journey! 💪✨

Through the Social & Health Enabling Destination (SHED) programme, they observed the impactful work of Care Managers, gaining insights into preventive health, chronic condition management, and health literacy promotion. 🏥💡

But that’s not all—our students also got hands-on by job shadowing and designing exercise programmes for seniors to boost flexibility, balance, strength, and overall mobility, contributing to fall and injury prevention. 🧘‍♂️🏋️‍♀️

A huge THANK YOU to Alexandra Hospital and the Care Managers for their mentorship and for giving our students this amazing opportunity to grow professionally in the community and healthcare sector. 🙌💙
