This is not an end, but a new hello!
Moving forward, we will be transforming and offering themed short courses which are more interactive in nature where we can engage all participants.

π₯ Refresh Your Pre-hospital Emergency Skills
Join us for a 1-day workshop designed exclusively for pre-hospital care practitioners, focusing on managing respiratory emergencies in the field.
Refresh/ gain both theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in managing life-threatening respiratory emergencies in the pre-hospital setting.
π Lecture Highlights
Lecture 1: Acute Asthma
Understanding the pathophysiology and common triggers of asthma.
Recognizing mild to severe asthma exacerbations and manage them in the pre-hospital setting, including airway support, oxygen therapy, bronchodilator administration, monitoring of treatment response, and timely escalation.
Lecture 2: Congestive Cardiac Failure
Focuses on respiratory distress caused by heart failure, particularly pulmonary oedema. Recognizing CCF, differentiate it from other respiratory conditions, and provide appropriate pre-hospital management, including patient positioning, oxygen therapy, monitoring, and early transport.
Lecture 3: Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
Recognition and management of allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. Early identification of airway compromise and the importance of prompt adrenaline administration, oxygen therapy, supportive care, and early transport.

Graduation for JP2404. It is also our last batch of Higher NITEC for Paramedic and Emergency Care. Ever since the inception in 2008, 18 batches of students have graduated from the course. We are proud to announce the closure of our Higher NITEC and open a new chapter, Work-study Diploma in PARAMEDICINE.
