I had the pleasure of teaching JM for Math and her combined Sciences. She is one student that I am glad I taught because she came in with no confidence in doing well for Math or Sciences and constantly worrying if she could do well in certain subjects. Sometimes I could sense that she wanted to give up on some subjects but I could see that as time goes by, her confidence level goes up and so did her grades, and that reinforces her confidence again. The other beautiful thing about her is that she is such a respectful and appreciative student. I think that makes all the difference in teaching when you are not just going after results as a teacher but also see them transform. And to add on, she is also very filial to her mother.
